Coorg Honey Dew —  This variety is cultivated for both table consumption and processing. It produces greenish-yellow, oblong-shaped fruits with thick orange flesh and excellent flavor, making it highly valued in the market.

Pusa Dwarf —  A dioecious variety with dwarf plants and medium-sized oval fruits. It begins bearing fruit 25 to 30 cm above ground and is drought hardy, making it ideal for high-density planting.

Pusa Giant —  Known for vigorous and sturdy plants tolerant to strong winds, this dioecious variety produces large fruits. It is suitable for the canning industry.

CO.1 —  Selected from the Ranchi cultivar by TNAU, Coimbatore, this variety produces medium-sized, spherical fruits with smooth greenish-yellow skin and soft, firm, orange-yellow flesh. It has moderate juiciness and good shelf life.

Washington —  A table variety with round, medium-large fruits having few seeds. When ripe, the skin turns bright yellow. Fruit weight ranges from 1.5 to 2 kg. Male and female plants are separate.

Solo —  A popular table variety producing small fruits with deep pink pulp and sweet taste. It is excellent for kitchen gardens.

Taiwan-786 —  A gynodioecious variety used for both table and processing purposes. Fruits are oblong with sweet pulp and few seeds, starting to bear at 100 cm above ground. Fruit weight ranges from 1 to 3 kg with excellent shelf life.

IIHR39 and IIHR54 —  Developed at IIHR, Bangalore, these varieties produce medium-sized, sweet fruits with high total soluble solids (14.5° Brix) and improved shelf life.
