Pusa Deepali — Recommended mainly for northern regions such as Delhi and Punjab, Pusa Deepali is an early-maturing cauliflower. It produces compact, white curds that are medium-sized and mostly free from riceyness. This self-blanching variety typically yields about 12 tons per hectare.
Early Kunwari — Early Kunwari is favored for cultivation in Haryana, Punjab, and Delhi. Known for its very early maturity, it forms hemispherical curds with a smooth surface. Harvesting usually occurs between mid-September and mid-October, with an average yield of around 8 tons per hectare.
Pant Shubhra — This early-season cauliflower variety is well-suited to northern India. Pant Shubhra features slightly conical, creamy-white curds that are compact and firm. It is generally ready for harvest in November and yields approximately 20 tons per hectare.
Snowball-16 — Ideal for cooler climates in northern India, Snowball-16 is a late-maturing variety. It produces medium-sized, solid white curds and is harvested from January to March. This variety yields between 25 to 30 tons per hectare.
Pant Gobhi-2 — Pant Gobhi-2 is an early-maturing variety with creamy white, compact, and composite curds. Its harvesting window falls between November and December, yielding around 12 tons per hectare.
Dania Kalimpong — Popular in eastern India, Dania Kalimpong is a late-season cauliflower variety. It grows medium to large, compact, and visually appealing white curds that are less sensitive to environmental changes. Harvesting typically takes place from January to April.
Pusa Snowball-1 — Pusa Snowball-1 is a late-maturing variety with medium-sized, snow-white, very compact curds. Harvest season is from January through April. It produces yields of 25 to 30 tons per hectare but may be prone to black rot disease.
Punjab Giant-35 — Punjab Giant-35 is a main-season cauliflower variety. It produces medium-sized, compact white curds. The harvesting period is mid-November to December, with an average yield of about 17 tons per hectare.
